Learn the rules & how to comply with them
The new Civil Procedure Rules effective from 26th April 1999 effect all Experts whatever their field of expertise. This is a practical course through the minefield. The majority of the new Rules do not directly affect Experts. Most which do affect the Expert are in Rule 35, however, there are many others in CPR which concern the Expert and his work - these will be clearly identified and their impact discussed. The Role of the Single Joint Expert will be examined in detail so that participants on the course will have a clear understanding of their role and responsibilities as well as the potential problems. The new CPR Protocol for Experts which is effective from 5th September 2005 and its implications for the Expert's working practices will be examined in detail.
