Practice, as they say, makes perfect - the chances are, by the time you know you are going to have to go to court, there will not be enough time to get the practice.
Why attend?
As an Expert you will be judged on the quality of your evidence - not just the quality of your opinion. As well as technical accuracy you must take into account:
- Compliance
- Language
- Presentation
- Style
This course is designed to give you the knowledge and experience of being in court. You will be cross-examined by a practising Barrister in a relaxed environment with a chance to learn from and to correct your mistakes, as well as to improve your technique before you go into the box.
This course can be used to good effect by the experienced practitioner to refine technique and is an essential course for the beginner.
- How and when to prepare for court
- Roles, duties and conflicts
- How to make the best of any situation
- Lawyers' techniques and how to handle them
- How to introduce yourself and your expertise
- Practical sessions and feedback
- Note: Numbers are very restricted on this course.
- Cross Examination by a UK Barrister
First you will learn how to 'perform in the box' and then you will do it!
Please note that all delegates attending this course will
have the opportunity to be cross examined. If you wish to be cross examined
you should submit a report for cross-examination prior to attendance on the
course (case studies are available).
Suitable as both an introduction to the
art of success and survival in court and as a refresher for the
experienced.
