The Academy is once again holding a training series in Hong Kong for government departments and individuals. The training divides into Expert Witness training and Commercial Mediation Training.

There are also a number of 'special' courses being run for Institutions including the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors.

Expert Witnesses & Expert Determination

Joint meeting to held by RICS and The Academy of Experts

An Evening Seminar which will investigate the similarities and differences between the Expert as Witness and as Determiner.

ADR in Asia 2007

The Academy is pleased to support the HKIAC's ADR in Asia 2007 conference which was held on 13th September at the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong.

As a supporting organisation Members of the Academy of Experts are entitled to a special Member's Rate of HK$2,000.

Evening Meetings

The last evening meeting was on 16th November 2006 entitled Experts in Mediation - uses, abuses and problem areas at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. [click here]

The meeting was very well attended with nearly 100 Academy and  Chartered Institute of Arbitrators member present.
